Named after Major General Aylmer of the Durham Light Infantry during the 1st World War, this room was used for Christening's & Marriages around the 19th century. Features include a 4 poster bed, panoramic views from the 13th century leaded windows.

King James 1st of England stayed in this very room on April 14th 1603. The room now features free wifi, large television, tea & coffee, his & her robes & bottled water in a fridge.
